it worked...unfortunately, i'm pretty much kinda dumb and i think i erased my current database...gonna have to search around a bit and experiment...is there a way to take just some of the fighters that you have created and move them into my current database of fighters (if i find them)?

1) I seriously doubt that you destroyed your other database - look in the TBCB2 folder, find the folder marked 'Data' and see what is in there. There should be a default, MyDB, and whatever else you may have created. The one you got from me is titled 'Complete' you can switch from one to another in the options field within the game.
2) The DB contains everything that I have collected from the boards, not just what I created. 3) You can export fighter files to a folder from one database, open a different database and import them. Good luck and post questions out in the main board if I am not helping much. Smarter people may be able help you. Christopher

wouldn't be all bad anyways....had a lot of fighters from the board that i thought could use some adjusting. would be able to go through that way and do a clean sweep then. you just do such a great job on making the "never have beens" and "never will be's" that i will probably use your database as a starter and go from there...adjusting what i feel like adjusting. seems like a major job, but nothing that a couple of weekend nights and a few bottle of suds can't handle
![]() if i get good enough, i might take a whack at a few of the fighters that need to be made from the board Last edited by Mudster : 11-04-2005 at 10:58 AM. |

I followed this universe early on, but had lost track of it. Very well done, the website is excellent. I wish I could get something as in depth started, but I keep starting universe ideas then lose interest and they fade away.

Hey, thanks guys.
It is not dead at all. I am slowly working my way through November of 1901 but have been going at a crawl waiting for Andreas to release the aging update. It will really help me a lot. In the meantime, I have been sorting photos and posting them on the same site. My first world title fights are scheduled for January of 1902 and I should get there soon.

Well, I've done just about every picayune anal-retentive thing that I can to my universe and don't feel like waiting around for the anticipated aging patch any more. I may update this by the weekend.

Some brief stats on my universe as an aside:
Currently active fighters - 3,582 (with 2 to 65 bouts to-date) Retired fighters - 3 (with hundreds scheduled to retire shortly) Most career wins to-date - Tanveer Ahmed (Pakistan) LW 53 Most consecutive KO's - Gregorio Vargas (Mex) JLW 21 Note, this past year will be the last of the mass rookie influxes for me. Going forward, I will basically just replace retirees as I am getting close to my desired universe size.
