And then there was "Steamboat" Brand, who was a palooka. He was a trial horse for trial horses. Actually a trial horse for trial horses for trial horses. I can't find his photo, but he was out of Waterford, Connecticut, and he fought(1910-1915). He fought over thirty bouts, and was ko each time. The highlight of his career was the night he made it into the second round with Soldier Delaney. He went down before Delaney could land a punch in that round, however.
