I rated Travis Walker. I forget what I gave him, most likely a one or a two. BJ Flores is moving to CW I hear....he does have some boxing skills. The handlers of Chambers worry that he doesn't have enough of a punch to keep upper tier sluggers off of him. He is fast and does have a great movement and jabs well.

Johnson had a draw with Timur Imbragimov. I hope he has improved since. I haven't seen him....he doesn't fight near enough.

I just cant figure why these guys dont fight more often. A boxing career is short enough without wasting prime years treading water. A one or two sounds about right for Walker,as I said he has a long way to go...just mentioned him because of his power and he seems to be involved in pretty good action fights. I had rated Flores..think I had him a 4 or 5..not sure though. As for Johnson...I wonder if it is the trainers or the fighters who are the ones who decide when to fight? I know the promoter has the final say..but if a fighter doesnt want to fight he can pretty much delay the proceedings at will. I think a young prospect should fight at least once every couple of months. All fighters would be better served to fight fairly often. I think that is one of the things that make todays fighters so inconsistent, they just dont fight often enough to stay at the top of their game.

Ice,I looked back through the thread and you had Walker rated at a three, which is a pretty good rating. At this point in his young career,he is all power and not much else..lol.

Bio Updates

* Bio Updates *

I'm not sure who rated these fighters. I only added the bio information and updated some of the fighter info. I did not touch the ratings.

Smile Probably mine, Mark

If it says "rated by me" or "created by me" in the bios, its one of mine. "me" is my initials and the initials of my former job description. I know I did Brescia and Trammell. I think Mann was in the game.

I did a bunch of those 1940s and 1980s JM-HW files I've seen being posted and updated, which is more than fine by me. Any improvements are appreciated. Thanks.

* I'll never touch anyones ratings out of respect for those that do this sorta thing. I'm sure I have rated fighters that have previously been rated causing duplicates but that is by accident. I added bios to the above fighters. They had a stroy on maxboxing about 1936 and the heavyweight division.

I downloaded all of your creations and didn't see Leroy Haynes. I'll end up rating him myself. Found him!

Glad you found him. If you are uncertain and don't want to duplicate efforts, e-mail or PM me anytime and I'll check for the file. If I've got it, I'll send it or post it, your choice. I appreciate all the fighter files and pics I've picked up from you over the years. Keep up the good work!

By the way Ice..I see your guy Eddie Chambers got another victory recently. I wonder when his handlers are going to really step up his competition?

He will get a shot next week if he signs with King. I don't think he is ready yet.

More updated profiles. These fighters are included in the game. The ratings were not changed in anyway.

Eddie Chambers reminds me of a younger version of Tony Thompson.......not a puncher but he can box. I think he needs more seasoning before he takes the next step. Remember he is only 24, which is young by HW standards and he needs a lot of seasoning based on his style of fighting.

He has defeated a couple fringe names. I would like to see him in with someone on the level of Meehan or Timo Hoffman.

I would like to see him fight either one but with Meehan he would be willing to fight him in the states. Hoffmann would stay in Germany and there is a possibility that if Eddie doesn't KO him, there will be a screwy descision.

Yeah,he is still very young and probably shouldnt be rushed along. Meehan and Hoffman sound about right...either would be a good test to see just how far along Chambers is at this point.
