You can PM bigMatt; he will be issuing marching orders to us over the next week so we can go about this in an orderly fashion and not overlap work. He may also decide that the easiest way to talk and coordinate is to start a thread here in the forum about it - his call.

This will be an enormous effort but it may take a lot less time than any of us think if there are enough coordinated hands in the mix.

Thank you to everyone willing to help and especially Matt for offering to play quarterback.

Yes I second that. Dave. Many many of these contributions are yours, and I appreciate them very much. A main goal will to make certain we don't end up making the posting of photos more difficult (just the finding more easy!) To that end, would love not only your participation, but your thoughts on how to do this best.

Also, as we move this stuff over, I want to take care to keep the info (Name, era, box rec record, etc.) intact, whether in the title or in the body of the message is an open question.

Chris, will the search find this info in either area?

I'm also thinking the secondary pics, etc., all fall into their appropriate era as Chris described. That way, a person is only required to search within one folder get all that fighter's photos in one shot.

You know way back when contributing pictures was one of the things that I did almost everyday. Now if I want to run my universe and play I really don't have time to hunt down pics. I appreciate the hard work you guys do hunting down pics

I'll still be maintaining the photos without files thread and sending Mark those photo-file pairings. No one was collecting the photos to send to cornerwork per se though. Cube has been picking what he whats for his updates, but nothing beyond that to my knowledge.

Would it be helpful to have a list, so everyone can see what fighters need to be found?

I could start compiling one from my database which is roughly 14,000 fighters at the moment.

If you want to compile and maintain a list like that, I am sure that everyone would be glad to have the help. That's a big undertaking!
