Downloading files to the game from the forum?
Hi,
Is there a thread detailing how to download fighter files from on the forum for use in the game? There are many fighter files that I'd really like to use, but have so far been unsuccessful at downloading into the game for use. Thank you for any help or direction you can provide to me on this. ![]() |

Okay here is what you do
The fighter file you want to download 1) right click download the file to somewhere you will remember .. I have a file called downloads .. within that file I have a file named fighters .. that is where I download them to. 2) once the file is downloaded, you go into the game, click on fighters on the main screen, then click on the side menu (look all the way to the right of the screen), click on import files, then direct it to where you saved the file 3) to import multiple files at the same time you can hold control and right click on as many as you want 4) a menu will come up and ask you the following a) there is already a record with the same id in your database Okay this will come up most of the time, hit yes b) another ? will come up asking if you want to overwrite the existing record, choose no to create a new record .. hit no c) it will then ask you if you want to import stats, fight record and history .. hit no It will then import the fighter and highlight him (if it is the only one you imported, if you imported mulitple it will highlight the last one) .. then you can compare the two files (if there is two) and delete the one you don't want. |

I am able to download some files following the steps you outlined (those steps were very clear and helpful, Thank you!
). However, some files result in an "error" message once I click on the file saved to a folder for import into the game. For example, from "Lightweight Landslide" all of those files unfortunatley result in an error message. The only difference I notice so far between those files and the ones that have downloaded successfully is they are labled as "TBDX2" files. Any suggestions for how I can get all those fighter files into the game? |

I sounds like you have an older version of the game - try to download the newest version by following the stickied threads in the general discussion forum.
I believe that you should at least have version 2.0.27
