Preparations for a New History

I've been doing other things for a while but will fire up TBCB2 again shortly. I am most impressed by the number of newly rated fighters on the board. How many fighters are those of you with relatively complete dbs up to? Is there a single place to download them? If I just download all the cornerwork files, how close will I be to being up to date? Thanks for any help you can give me.

We are still a bit of a mess with respect to location of files but will get more organized one day soon. A guess would be that cornerwork contains 70 to 80 % of all created files. Many have only been posted here.

At least the photos are getting more organized!

I know that you've done a thousand or more fighters yourself. Are they at cornerwork, or do I need to download them individually from your site?

With no women and several duplicates (only weed out dups when I bring them into my uni) I have 15,432 fighters. This does include 1378 fictional TC's also

I have work to do. That's about 5,000 more than I have.

My email tried to download a very large attachment this evening and timed out. If that was you, I appreciate the effort, but I don't think my email service can handle an attachment of that size. (Then again, it may have been not you and been work related, in which case you should ignore everything I just said.)

I downloaded the database on Conn Chris' website, which is about 14,200 fighters strong. I think I can get it up to date just by downloading fighters created in 2007. That's a lot better off than I was. Thanks to all.

The one on my site has a fair amount of garbage in it. I have never taken the time to comb and clean. Just a word of warning.

Hadn't tried it yet and I would have sent it through yousendit.com which just sends you a link to download it. Chris db is probably as current as mine though so I'll hold off emailing it.

I only activate the fighters into my historical replay group one at a time as they make their debuts. I'll have plenty of time to clean it up. Looks pretty good to me.
