Cornerwork Update
Hi Guys,
Once again Vistaman has provided us with a fighterpack from his 1980s Universe. This time we have 148 light Heavies from the era. Available now from Cornerwork . Thanks Vistaman for your continuing good work. Just to let you guys know, I will be away for a week and half starting on Saturday as I am getting maried that day and then going on my honeymoon. So if I don't respond to emails for a while you'll know that I am otherwise occupied Cheers, Mark

Glad to do it, guys. I enjoy researching and ranking the fighters. Enjoy them and modify as you see fit.
Congrats to Gunsmoke, and enjoy I also will be infrequently available for the next few weeks, so the 1980s super middles, middles and junior middle add-ons will be delayed a bit. Have gotten a job after seven long weeks unemployed. Will be commuting for a while, and will at least initially have limited computer access ... ![]()

Congratulations to both of you Marks.
And thank you Vistaman Mark for all the 80's fighters. The 80's is another favorite era of mine since that's when I first started seriously following the sport. Sincerely, Yet another Mark |

Outstanding Effort - I want to Contribute
This is a sensational site, from both an appearance and context standpoint. I'd like to send you an original boxing article every other week or so, if you'd like it. I'm visiting trainer/manager Tommy Yankello this week and will be doing articles for Boxing Digest on several of his fighters, including top amateur-turned-pro Verquan Kimbrough, undefeated heavyweight Calvin Brock and Yankello's latest project, Monty Mesa-Clay.
I'm sure that I can spin off a column for Corner Work - again, if you would like it. I'd also like to use Corner Work (rather than these boards) to do some brain-storming on game features. For example, would an "Intimidation" category be worth adding? Something like INTIMIDATE: 10/9 (intimidate/be intimidated) which would affect performance. I always marvel at the fact that several fighters -- Patterson and Norton -- were fantastic against many very good fighters but froze against others. It might be something to explore. Again, thank you for your continued support and let me know what you think about the above. |
