Need help starting a new universe

wonderin if anyone out there can give me some help on starting a new universe.

1)when i start every fighter is in their prime do i set career stages for boxers manually or is it done auto with the auto ageing option.
2)will fighters ratings improve automatically eg if amir khan is at "begining"2 will he improve with more fights and his rating go up?

any help appreciated , i have a few more queries but..one step at a time

Can anyone help him? I have a general idea, but I know that there are other, much more learned members out there to guide him in the right direction. So please, lend a hand!

There is an option to run auto-aging on all fighters in the aging screen, aswell as setting the range of how many fights your fighters spend at each career stage. What you need to do after that is set all the fighters you wish to use to the career stage you wish them to be at when the universe starts. This can be done by clicking the box next to their name and then using the mass edit function in the side menu. After that, when you start running fights the fighters will move through the career stages based on the parameters you set in the aging section.
