Yeah, I'm sure I would rate the earliest fighters I did differently now. You kind of have to do it for a while before you get the hang of it. And everyone has their own style. Given the same fighter I'm sure myself, Bear and Vistaman would all rate him somewhat differently. But a crummy fighter is still going to end up being a crummy fighter no matter who rates him.

Bad fighters will be bad. Although I don't intentionally rate fighters already rated by other guys like John and the two Marks, I have sometimes done so because my cursory search of my database missed finding the guy. I find that our ratings do differ, but the badness of the fighter remains. I've even re[rated one or two of my own TCs without realizing it, and I've rated them differently. Some of my own thoughts on ratings have evolved over time. I also look at the work done by other raters like John and try to make my own ratings more consistent with their ratings.
