Hello, Rocco, i was on the net when i came across your list of boxers from the 1960,s, and my fathers name was on it, Jim Mcilvaney, but as many records have put my father down as being born in Birmingham England, infact he was born in Bellshill Scotland, and moved to Birmingham in 1961 at the age of 18, this is why he is often put down as being born there, but is infact untrue, he is a true Scott and hates being called English as you can imagine. I hope you dont mind me telling you his real birth place. all the best to you, Mark Mcilvaney(proud son of James Mcilvaney. |

Thank you for the information. Once we get the new DB on line and start adding fighters created here on the boards, we will absolutely get James's birthplace correct. |

So great to "meet" you! It's really great to have you write about your father. So much of these ratings that we do on these boards for TCB get based in large part on what's on BoxRec website. You people like yourself came come forward with information like this on your father, I truely appreciate it! I got my hands on some 1967 thru 69 Boxing News just for the purpose of hoping to learn more about the fighters from the UK and Europe as I've gotten into this 1967 project of mind I really got interested in the fighters from "over there". I'll be sure to get an updated file on your father posted soon. We sure don't want him being called anything he doesn't like! ![]() Thanks again for writing Mark! Rocco Del Sesto |

I can help you with both the Scarabellin's, Mazzola,Williams, and Zech. The Mazzola file has both a HW and LHW version. Both Zech and Mazzola ratings I did some recent tweeking of. The Williams is one for an Australian who fought in the 50's. Is that the one your looking for. It was a rating Lee Skye did. Rocco |

OK i have four groups 4 group of fighters from the 70's,80's,90's &2000's each group has 20 fighters for a total of 80 fighters i have did a round robin sch with each fighter fighing each other 2 times 158 fights for each fighter here are the sch in three files they should work with the default DB for tbcb 2.5 if for some reason they don,t i have a zip file here also . YOU will have to create a new universe then go to your saved game folder find your new universe copy the down loaded files into the new universe files. Then copy the scheduler files in to your scheduler files. This should give you a good ideal of the top 50 fighters from 1970 thur 2008 or at least the way tbcb ratings go.The fighter ratings are the ones that come with tbcb 2.5.I hope this works ok i have never tried to down load zip files here before just fighter files.Have fun and this way you can make up your on mind about who was the best and how the 70,s compare with the 90's.
