I'm still looking for a good Harold Mays. I have a fuzzy version. Someone sent me a pic of Hans Birkie, but I'd like to see another to compare it with. Another tough one to find is Tiger Warrington.

Thanks again for the pics guys. Jack Gross, Lou Scozza and Tony Shucco all in one day! These are all guys I've been looking for since they are major players in my 30's universe. I'm always looking for anyone who was active in the 30's. Are you guys finding these pics on the internet or are they scans?

Thanks,
Mark

The stuff I had came from the net over the years. I've still got a bunch somewhere on disks from the TF2001 game plus ones I collected over the years as I came across different guys I had read about and later saw in the old board games.

I'm finding all my stuff from the net since I do not own a scanner much to my chagrin, next investment though. I have plenty of old ring mags with good pics.

Same here, plus some great internet sites. I sold a poile of boxing stuff some years ago, but have some of it saved on my trusty PC.

By the way, here's my take on Carmine Vingo.

Cool Zolkin pic

Couldn't find the string where I had posted rankings for heavyweight Alexander Zolkin earlier, but I have a couple of pics I surfed a while back. Will post here and hope interested persons and/or cube snatch them up!

P.S.: Looks like he aged a bit from one to the other!

Smile Tony The Tiger

Another guy I rated was Tony "The Tiger" Baltazar, 1980s lightweight slugger. See if you can tell he's from Texas in the pic ... LOL!

Lightbulb Bepper all the time!

David Myers did a great job of rating the best fighter ever from my mother's motherland, Bep van Klaveren of The Netherlands. Here is a pic of the The Windmill world class welterweight.

Another fighter

Here's another fighter rated by David Myers, German middleweight contender Erich Seelig, who finished his career in the U.S. This is adjusted from a poster, so not as good as others, but best I could locate.

Here's one I've never seen before. Ed Dunkhorst, the Human Freight Car 1895-1900 acording to Box rec, but he was likely around a little longer than that. He stood 6'3 1/2" and weighed up to 250 pounds. Beat a few "B" level fighters, lost to Joe Butler. Went 22 with Gus Ruhlin in a losing effort.

Great job gentlemen!
This photo archive stuff is getting a lot easier when everyone contributes like this. I'll zip up the best of them and add them to the next update.

Cube:
Great news that you were here to include all the new photos in your next update. On behalf of myself and all the rest of the "computer-challenged" group thank you for the photo packs.
