Missing fighter photos

First I have to thank and commend CubeDrum for doing an amazing job of collecting so many fighters in his photo pack. This was an ENORMOUS job he undertook. Thank you Cubedrum, the faces really do add an extra dimension to the game as far as atmosphere.

With that being said I was making a list of all the heavyweights that still have no photo. I can only imagine how hard it is to find the missing heavyweights photos. I tried to find the first two on my list. Joe Alexander and Sante Amonti, no luck! I was wondering what everyone thought about creating a section where we can post a list of all the fighters that are missing a photo. Then we as a community can try and search for them. When one is found we can share with the rest, and that name can be crossed off the missing photo list.

I came up with a list of 66 heavyweights that don't have photos yet. Perhaps some of us that have the time can go through the rest of the divisions, and post the list of missing photos? What does everyone think about this?

I'll keep on looking and posting fighters eithier to cube or on the board when I find them as well. Sometimes its good to check on Ebay from time to time as photos of boxers come up for sale , Sometimes its of ones we still need.

I've been looking for Charlie Belanger, Winnipeg light heavyweight of the 1930s. Got a letter back today from the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame saying they don't have a photo of him. Think I'll try the provincial archives next and maybe the Winnipeg Free Press (newspaper).

I'll put him into my list of fighters to find. Finding a lot of the missing fighter's photos in the game, looks like it will be very difficult.

Yeah, unfortunately, for a lot of old time guys, no one bothered to keep pictures of them, except maybe family members. So, it's almost like they never existed. I get a real kick out of locating a hard to find photo, kind of like bringing a guy back from oblivion. Here's one I thought I'd never see. Al Kubiak.
