My first created fighters

Attached is a zip containing 11 fighters I created. Most are featherweights I needed to add for my planned universe (I'll detail that in a different thread). All fighters are post 1970.

Middleweight: Quincy Taylor,
Welterweight: Crisanto Espana
Lightweight: Takanori Hatakeyama, Juan Nazario
Featherweight: Yong-Kyun Park, Eloy Rojas, Wilfredo Vazquez, Freddie Norwood, Marcos Villasana, Paul Hodkinson, Min-Keun Oh

I'm looking for any feedback I can get. I was able to get results pretty solid against guys they fought in real life, but from the crew here who are better versed in the creation aspect than I am, and anyone who uses them, I hope you'll let me know what you think. Constructive criticism is the only way I'll get better at doing these.

Enjoy!

They look pretty good!

Just one suggestion. In the manual it mentions the following regarding the 2 and 3-point punch totals.

Quote:
A fighter’s 2-point and 3-point punches must add up to 100. The key factor is not how you assign the points by category (Jab, Hook, Cross, etc.) but rather how many 3-point punches are assigned. Again, the program uses a rather comprehensive formula determine how many 3-point punches are assigned. Here is a simplified but fairly accurate table to use as a guideline:

HP 1: 0 - 3
HP 2: 3 - 5
HP 3: 6 - 9
HP 4: 10-12
HP 5: 13-15
HP 6: 16-20
HP 7: 21-25
HP 8: 26-30
HP 9: 31-36
HP 10: 37-42
HP 11: 42-44
HP 12: 45-47
HP 13: 48-50
HP 15: 51-54

The way that you assign the number of punches the various punch types is,
in practicality, for cosmetic purposes only. If you have done your research
and know that a particular fighter throws a deadly right cross and throws a lot of combinations, then you’ll want to emphasize those punch types so that
your fighter will more strongly represent his actual style and preferences.
A few of your fighters have 3-point punch totals beyond the Truzo's suggestions. I noticed it because I've done the same thing --as well as [somehow] not giving them ANY 3-point punches ]

OK, pt totals have been revised. A couple of aggressiveness ratings had to be altered to complement, but not many.

Same fighters as above.

Enjoy!

Welcome! New/additional raters are always neede. I don't know how yours stack up, but I'm sure they're fine if LeeSkye gives them thumbs up!

A suggestion: You could have saved yourself a lot of time rating Taylor, Espana, Hatakeyama, Nazario, Villasana and Oh if you had searched this site and/or CornerWork. All had already been rated. If I pull over someone else's rating and feel it needs some tweaking, that's still a time-saver to rating them all myself ...

Anyway, that said, I'm going to grab Hodkinson, too!

Red face Doh! Should have looked ...

... at the start date. Guess I missed his banning and the original presentation of this string. Just now saw it at the top from McCleary's post.
Sorry. Never mind ...

I'm looking at the post, didn't see the year... and I'm thinking, "How do you post a comment when you've been banned? Didn't GForce post under 2 different login names? Or maybe I'm thinking about someone else.

I think he has posted under 3 or 4 names ..now whenever he pops up he is automatically banned. Last time he was banned he emailed all the members of the UTBA badmouthing Chris ... and then me.

He is a real peach.

I guess you could say he's really - Out of the Park, now.

Don't mind me. I need to get some sleep. I only managed about 4 hrs. last night.

Yeah, he's a peach all right. I can honestly say I'm not sorry he's been banned. He seems like the type to badmouth people.
