JOHNNY ERJAVEC HW

Hometown - Duluth, Minnesota, USA

34(15)-21-4

Erjavec started well with a 30-5-3 record fighting mainly in the Mid-west. As he moved up the food chain, he settled in as a journeyman / opponent amassing a 4-16-1 record over the final four years of his career. During that final period, Erjavec faced and lost to Lou Nova, Al Hostak, Jack Roper, Phil Brubaker, Fred Lenhart (whom he had previously defeated) and Maxie Rosenbloom among others.

GUSTAVO E. ENRIQUEZ LHW

Hometown - Ciudad Juarez, CH, Mexico

12(9)-4-0

Enriquez has had one title fight; a bout with Arturo Rivera in Juarez, Chihuahua with both the Mexican and WBC Continental Americas LHW belts on the line. Rivera scored a first round knockout. Enriquez has since bounced back with two first round KOs over lesser competition. Three of his four losses have come by way of stoppage.

I actually think I remember this guy. I want to say he fought out of Sarge Johnson's gym in Indy. Same gym that Marvin Johnson fought out of.

He was already made by whoever did the Boom group, but I like your rating (as a LHW, instead of entire career) better. He ahd a couple of impressive wins. Prince Mohammed and Murray Sutherland. Now looking at boxrec, I think I remember his fight against Andries. Close losses to him and Roldan kinda took the steam out of his career.

You actually made my morning chris .... I ended up calling my grandfather up in Indy because he used to know all the local boxers up there and trained me when I was growing up (my grandfather was a golden gloves champ in Mexico City in the early 40's) and he talked for like a 1/2 on Williamson. Said that he lost confidence in getting any kind of decision after the loss to Andries and just started headhunting. Then got heavier and couldn't keep up with the HW power. He says I met him a few times but I just remember Marvin Johnson.

Oh well nice remembering old times every now and then.

Thank you for the additions SAL.

JIM FELL HW

Born - United Kingdom

3(3)-6-3

British born Fell did all of his pro fighting in the United States as he slowly moved cross-country first in New York, then Minnesota and finally in San Francisco. He lost in 15 rounds to Patsy Cardiff and had a 12 round draw with John P Clow. Oddly, two of his three victories came on the same evening in New York when he TKOd Jack Couper in round three and Jim McDevitt in the first.

JB Williamson

Conn Chris/MH2365

Gents, are there two JB Williamson's ?

The pic I have and the one in Cubedrum's pack are different. I vaguely remember the Andries fight and I am sure he fought a black guy, the one in Cube's pack looks a bit like an 'older' Tony Sibson who was stopped by Dennis Andries late in his career.

Guys could you do me a favour and post the pic you have on this thread.

Cheers

Good question. Boxrec only lists one (not that they are the end-all) and that is the one that SAL rated. Perhaps someone's picture is off. I have never seen him fight and couldn't pick him out of line up.
