Tonight's batch includes ...
... four from the 1930s and two from the 1950s, starting with the 1930s guys. First, Clyde Chastain (two pics) and Frankie Caris. The wiley Chastain was a thorn in Slapsie Maxie Rosenbloom's side, beating the champ once and gaining two draws in three non-title meetings.

... 1930s are Luigi Quadrini (two pics) and Young Joe Roche. Quadrini had a losing career record, but was European and Italian featherweight champion.

... from the 1940s: Johnny Virgo (with bad pic), Eddie Halligan, Abe Denner and Johnny Dell, all contenders and victims of Willie Pep who had respectable records. Halligan recorded 171 bouts, winning 95 and having the unusual distinction of as many draws as losses (38 of each). Anyone have pics of Denner, Halligan or Dell?
