Jofre may know something about this Mass LHW. He beat some really good fighters but wasn't very busy and never got out of the northeast.
TOMMY SULLIVAN LHW (1942-1949) Overall Rating = 6 Hometown - Boston, Massachusetts, USA 17(12)-2-0 Were it not for Al Priest, Sullivan would have been undefeated. Both his losses to Priest were ten round decisions. Tommy Beat Johnny Carter, Anthony Jones, Coley Welch, Eddie Boden, George Kochan, John Henry Eskew, Jabber Caparell and Johnny Melko.

I've come across a couple of old timers from the 30s or 40s who ran off a streak of wins and suddenly seemed to have stopped fighting. In some cases I would think they either joined up or got drafted for WW2.
