Burke was stopped ten times, but that is little wonder considering the competition that he faced during his seven year career. He was stopped by Georges Carpentier, Jack Delaney, Jimmy Slattery, Tommy Gibbons and Gene Tunney. He also dropped decision losses to Homer Smith and Billy Shade. Burke di manage one impressive victory in 1924 when he defeated Battling Siki in a twelve round decision.

These are the two photos that I have of Jack Burke. If they are both Irish Jack, then poor Jack is photoless.

If niether of these looks like Irish Jack to you, I need both the photo and file for him.

Burke put together a nice career with all three losses comming against good competition in his final year as a pro. He holds two wins over Freddie Roach, was TKO'd by Hector Camacho and lost to Rosendo Alonso in a bid for the WBC Continental Americas JLW belt.

The game does allow you to refer to him as Irish Jack, so you can keep the name if you like. But then...you....probably already know...that.

Chad got a late start in the fight game but he is unlikely to follow in Lawrence Clay-Bey's shoes. Butler has demonstrated power against the parade of stiffs that he has faced. Unfortunately, he failed his only test against Sultan Ibragimov who actualy is considered a prospect with potential.
