Hometown - Uitenhage, South Africa 46(23)-11-6 South African Jr Flyweight Champion South African Jr Bantamweight Champion IBF Inter-Continental Flyweight Champion Was 27-1-0 fighting at below Flyweight but not quite as succesful at higher weights.Won the South African JFly belt in 1986 with a TKO over Odwa Mdleleni and defended six times before moving up in weight. He was stopped by Robert Quiroga in a bid for the IBF Flyweight title. Holds wins over Bashiru Thompson, Wele Maqolo, Agustin Garcia, Rafael Cabrera and Jacob Matlala. Other than the loss to Quiroga, he was only stopped one other time - in his final bout. |
