Cornermen Images
Although we lost our old cornermen thread, I picked up a couple from last night's fights I thought I'd add.
This first one is Danny Milano, who was the cutman for both Antonio Tarver and Vinnie Maddalone. Last edited by maxx; 10-02-2005 at 11:37 PM. |

This is George Durbin. He was the trainer/cutman for DaVarryl Williamson. You'd have to give him hight marks for his efforts to motivate Williamson in the Teddy Atlas style; it just wasn't effective.

Don House; trainer for Kid Diamond. I'd have to agree that he probably should have stopped the fight in the corner.

Roy Jones, Sr.; I thought he did a lousy job in the corner if his intention was to help RJ win the fight. However, like his son, I suspect his intention was only to ensure survival (yeah, I know, 24 hours later & I'm still pissed that I spent money to watch a guy not try to win).

I grabbed some of the cornermen from the Corrales/Castillo card last night that I don't think we've had before. This is Rodolfo Chavez, the trainer for Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr.

I've got another batch of off-the-TV cornermen, etc. from some recent televised fights that I'll post as I process them.
Here's Stitch Duran; well known West Coast cutman most recently seen in Diego Corrales' corner. |

I'm looking for images of some old time trainers: William Muldoon, William Delaney, Con McVey, William Ruhlins, Henry (Pop) Blanken and Walter Moynahan.
Thanks in advance, Austin |
