Cube corrected lots of mispells and boxrec. numbers for the fighters in the database. Lots and lots of work went into this.

If a newcomer just installed the new 1.3 version of the game without putting on the 1.2 would your data base still work ok.

Yes. The only reason it wouldn't with earlier editions, is the location of the bio text files changed. The earlier CubesDB had the bios included because it was a complete database. Now the files are somewhere else in the game folder and apply to all databases present in the data folder. The latest CubesDB has all of the new ratings posted on the OOTP site on 2/27/04.

Of course it helps. I just don't include fighters that aren't in the "official" database. That way people without the entire series of fighter downloads won't download a bunch of stuff they won't use. If anyone has a request for an obscure photo just ask on the missing fighter photos thread which I do read.

Any special installation instructions? Do we create a database and replace the files with yours? Does it overwrite any current game database or bios?

It installs a new v1.4 DB entitled Cwdb in your data folder. Just like last time you will have to switch to the new database on your options page, and nothing is overwritten. He he unless you happened to name your DB Cwdb. I'll try to get some photos for these guys together. Might take a while with 974 new fighter files, lol.
