A mystery solved, now a new problem

In an earlier thread I asked for help because I couldn't open my Title Bout which I loaded off the cd I ordered. Since then I loaded it onto another computer and it opened easily. So there's some corruption in the windows files of my other computer that I'll work on. Thanks to everyone who suggested solutions to that problem. But now I've got another TB problem. My newly downloaded copy is asking me for a license number. Keep in mind, I ordered the CD. As far as I can tell there was no license number included with the CD. I'm at a lost. How do I get this number?

Did you get an e-mail from OOTP comfirming your purchase? If you did, it might be on there.

License number should be on the piece of paper that came with the cd. It is the invoice number at teh top right side.

All's well that ends well. All my TB problems are solved. Andreas Raht told me to look in the receipt.txt file in my program directory for license info. I did and found what I needed. Now if I can clear up the virus mess on my primary computer life will be good. As far as any piece of paper that might have come with the CD, I ordered it back in Feb. Unfortunately, my Dad passed away at that time so I'm just now getting back to TB. Anything that came with the cd was misplaced long ago. But it's good for all of us to know that if you buy the cd the license info you need is in the receipt.txt which can be accessed easily from your program directory. Next time somebody like me shows up at this site with similar questions we have the solution. Thanks to all who tried to help me through the wilderness.

Sorry to hear about your loss.

I am glad that you found the problem, I am of no use with issues such as you had so I didn't chime in. But now that you are up and running, welcome to the community. This is a fun place with great people, I look forward to seeing you around.

Christopher

Sorry to hear about your loss as well.

I also noticed on my disc that the license number is on the face of the disc.
