Download of pics, causes problem

Ok, I downloaded the referees pics off cornerwork. I replaced the referees folder with the one I downloaded, and now my list of refs is slightly different. Is this because I copied the sytem folder thumbs.db with all the pics?
Can I get the original list of refs back?? Did I foul anything else up on my computer by doing this??
Thanks!!

Ok, I think my list of refs may have looked different (duh) only because of the way I had them sorted. But I am curious about the thumbs.db file. Anyone know what it is? I can't seem to open it.

I believe that is a system created file that allows use to view the contents of a folder as thumbnail pics rather than a list of file names or any other available contents view. Nothing to be concerned with.

Excellent. Thanks much.
Note to self: Leave hidden files hidden, they will just make you nuts.
