Repeated autoscheduler crash

I have been having repeated autoscheduler crashes. I've been playtesting a new fighter, scheduling over 1,000 bouts for him. Somewhere between the 750th and 850th bout, the autoscheduler routinely crashes. Not every time. About two times out of five.

And not just with the fighter that I have been playtesting. I am running the latest version of the game on a 2.66 GHz Dell computer under Windows XP (2002) with 768 Mb of RAM.

Any guesses about what is going wrong?

This has happened to me as well. Right at about 800 bouts. I am running MS Windows XP Professional, 2002, Service Pack 2 with a 3.00GHZ Intel Processor and 1 GB of RAM.

The bouts that ran prior to the crash were recorded in the fighters' history but did not update the stats so their records are off and have to be manually corrected which I hope will not cascade into another problem down the line.

No one is responding to the troubleshooting area these days, but I though that I would mention it anyway.

I usually let the autoscheduler simulate 10,000 bouts before I release a patch, so I've really tested the autoscheduler very often. I would prefer to experience the crash too, because then I could find the problem
But it doesn't crash here on my computer. Probably out of RAM? But actually it doesn't need more RAM after some bouts... I really don't know - but I'm watching it.
