Can someone please help??

Wanting to get my universe started, not wanting to type in everything - help!

When I open the exported CSV file from TBCB2 in Excel, it doesn't understand the delimits. I get one big long column with ";" after each intended column.

There must be a step I'm missing. It's been a while since I've done this and I've spent the last hour trying to figure out the problem. Can someone please help?

Thanks in advance.

Matt

You can for example load the file into a text editor like notepad.exe and replace the ";" with the character that Excel likes more. Or edit the import options in Excel (I don't know from the top of my head if that's possible)

After you open the file in Excel, and it looks like a total mess, Click on the Column "A", then go to Data on the menu bar and choose "Text To Columns". When the popup comes up, click Next to go to step 2. When on Step 2, choose semicolon from the choices of Delimiters. Then Next and Finished.

A popup comes up asking if you want to replace the contents of the destination cells. Choose Yes. And that should do it.

EDIT: And I see someone answered this in another thread already....heheh.
