patch video issues

Hey,
I've always run the non-3D acc. version because it was the only one that didn't cause me to have weird video issues (black blocks behind cursor, etc.). Now with the patch I have the same problems with the 3D acc. version, but I'm also having issues with the non-3D version. I can't see the round clock during fights and the decision screen is also blank (the background photo is there, but not the actual result of the fight) -- so I don't even know who has won. Anyone have any ideas?

Did you restart your system after installing the patch?

Hey, Mike. You may have stumbled on the answer to the problems plaguing mankind. All we have to do is find that really big restart button....
