Aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhhhh!!!!
For some reason in my database all fights after the date of 20/12/03 have been wiped from the boxers fight history record screen. Aaaaaarrrrrrrggggggggggghhhhh!!!!!
Things like this make me want to start my universe all over again. |

Hi Andreas Thanks for the reply.
Although I thought I had a backup when I have copied the backup data into the TBCB folder, the game won't load it all so it is a bit difficult to answer your questions. I can get to the main screen but I get a message "Please wait, loading history.dat. This may take a few minutes" If I Ctrl-Alt-Del then task manager says TBCB is not responding. Anyway I will try and answer the questions from memory as best I can. 1) Don't know. See above. 2) They appear to be but the latest fights I can find are dated 27/01/06, which is the date I last backed up my data folder. 3) Hundreds at least. 4) The only thing I can think of is getting the message "Please wait, loading ratingrecords.dat. This may take a few minutes" one time and then after waiting more than 5 minutes, Ctrl-Alt-Del and ending the task which was displayed as "Not Responding" |

- make a backup copy of that database folder (if the database is myDB, copy the folder /data/myDB to anwhere else with all files) - delete the dat files in the /data/myDB folder (only those files where you have a .bak file with the same name!) - rename the .bak files into .dat - close all other programs, I suggest you restart the computer and just start TB2 then - during the converting process, you can use the Windows Task Manager to see if the program is still working (CPU %, not "TB is not responding" - is just doesn't "respond" because it's busy )- you can also check the files in the Windows Explorer and see how their size increases. If that stops, TB might hang - or the process has been completed ![]()
