Any Thoughts Guys
I first noticed this when I transferred my TB1 data folder into TB2 when TB2 was
released. I noticed fighters in the fighters list with records like 175-10-5 but when I checked the fighter history screen their record was actually 10-9-2. I noticed this mistake for quite a lot of fighters (at least three figures) although I did not check the whole database obviously. I posted the bug at the time but no-one else seemed to have had the same problem. Then I noticed that most of the fighters who had this problem were not in the default group of men but in a group called 1930's. This must have been a file I downloaded from Cornerwork. Thinking that this was the problem coupled with the fact that maybe there was a problem with transferring the data folder from TB1 to TB2 I thought I would start an alternate database but still keeping the old one. So I used the auto scheduler to schedule fights for the heavies, then cruisers, etc until every fighter in every division had between 3 - 5 fights. Then I looked at the fighter list, by chance I looked at Sergei Lyakhovich whose record on the fighter list was 0-2-3 but on the fighter history screen it was 1-3-3 (1). Matt Skelton was 4-1 (3) on the fighter list but on the fighter history screen he was 5-2 (4), one of the losses was a decision loss to himself!! Ramon Garbey's record on the fighter list was 2-2-1 but on the fighter history screen it was 3-2-1 (1). So I used the new database that was released in June. I ran no fights at all but checked my old friend's Sergei Lyakovich record. In the fighter list it was 0-0 (as it should be) but on the fighter history screen it was 1-1 (1). The above was sent to me by Boxingnut, Any thoughts Guys ? |

I have seen numerous instances with fighters imported from TBCB 1 where fighters have apparently fought themselves. Sometimes many times. In my case, these may be actual fights where the opponent was retired and had his stats reset. Just the other day, I noticed that Luis Firpo, an import who has over 40 fights, had five or six bouts against himself. I'm pretty sure these were again actual bouts that I screwed up by retiring his opponents.

Thanks Gentlemen
Maybe the guide line rule is dont try to import the fighters from the early version into the latest game or if you do, expect problems. I only have the latest game on my computer, thats why i posted this. Thanks Mike and Cap |
