.dat file error when importing a file

I had to redo my computer. I had to download the game. When I attempt to import created fighters, I get a dat file error and the game terminates. Any ideas on what the issue is? The game is TBII and the files are fighter files created in TBII.

The issue has been repaired. I downloaded the latest patch.
