Numerous crashes to desktop

Happens quite often while running autoscheduled bouts.

I am using the latest patch. PC is a P4 with 1GB of RAM.

No apparent rhyme or reason for crashes. Sometimes there are some other programs running, sometimes not. There may be as few as 2 fights scheduled or 300. It may be in the first few minutes or after two hours of playing.

In each case, the program closes and I am able to restart the program and run the autoscheduler with no ill effect.

It's not a showstopper, just an inconvenience.

I am using patch 27.

It used to happen occasionally with previous versions, but is much more often with patch 27.

Try using the Troubleshooting executable instead of the default one and see if your crashes cease.

If they do you may need to update your video drivers or your version of DirectX since the default application uses Direct3D, while the troubleshooting one uses DirectDraw. I'm not sure what Direct3D functions TBCB uses, but if your graphic drivers or DirectX versions are out of date, they may cause instability if TBCB makes graphic calls using newer functions.

It may be a good idea to update your drivers and DirectX version anyway. If you know what graphics card you have I may be able to direct you to the correct website.

The most current version of DirectX can be downloaded from Microsoft's website here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Hope your copy of Windows is legit, since it will validate your copy before allowing you to install DirectX.

Good luck.
