Career stage stuck on "prime"
Whenever I create a new boxer, I cannot set his career stage. It is stuck on the default "prime". The drop-down arrow is greyed out (active menus having a white arrow). Similarly, any boxer I select for a fight is also stuck on "prime", so, for example, I wouldn't be able to match a pre-prime Ali with a post-prime Tyson. Is there a patch or solution for this?

Oliver,
If you're using TBCB2, when you create a new fighter, there should be a box on the lower right of the first screen that says "Auto Aging Activatied." If you check that box, you should be able to adjust the career stage of your created fighters. Their default start will be "Prime," but you can change them to "Beginning" and they'll age according to the values you input in the auto-aging feature. The default mode for all fighters in the game database (other than the ones you create) is whatever career stage the developers believe they are in at the time of the database's creation. Retired fighters are generally Prime; active fighters may vary. But you can't adjust their career stages, except as they are adjusted automatically if you select "Auto Aging"--unless you select the global database option (from Options, then Databases), "Set all Fighters to CS Adj." This does a few strange things to ratings, but it does allow you to set up a fight between your created fighter (let's say he's "Beginning") and a fighter who's game rating is "Prime," with that fighter's rating rest to "Beginning" so the fight is more fair. I hope this helps.
