TBCB2 exe file not working in Windows Vista

Hi

I have a dual boot PC, Windows XP Pro/Windows Vista Ultimate (32bit editions).

I have TBCB2 and it runs fine on XP. However I cannot get it to run in Vista. I have tried to run the exe from the original install, tried a clean re-install and also tried copying the files from the XP Drive to the Vista Drive.

Unfortunately all have the same end result. A slight pause, followed by nothing.... no error message to help.

For me, it isn't the end of the world (or universe!) as I can boot into XP and run the game. Could be a problem for people who buy new PCs with Vista pre-installed.

It is a bit of a pain as the only other thing I have that wont work in Vista is my scanner - all other devices & software work fine. Apologies if this has been covered somewhere else - I had a quick scan and couldn't spot anything.

So far so good. Working fine in Vista.

I am having trouble getting TBCB to run on Vista. Glad to see someone is having luck with it. Any pointers I will take them.

I notified Andreas, and here is his response.

I'll fix this ASAP after the release of OOTP 2007. Will be end of March.
Thanks for the info!

Andreas

Hi Andreas,

A good friend of mine just purchased a new laptop with Microsoft Vista.

Any chance there is a way to get TBCB2 to run in Vista?

Thanks!

Dan

Sure hope TBCB 3 will run on both XP and Vista.
