Off Topic Browser problem
Hi, guys. yesterday my home PC started acting up (again). I wasted 3 hours of my life I'll never get back trying to solve the problem. My ISP techie said I needed to flush the DNS cache. I found the command (ipconfig /flushdns), but it won't work. I opened the DNS Cache file and it was disabled so I restarted it, but still no go. I've tried several tips I found in help forums, but I'm still getting something like, "will not display web page" when IE tries to open. Email is working and so is MSN Messenger. Is this a virus? A corrupted file? Ran Norton virus scan and found nothing.
Any ideas? Thanks. Cap (With baseball bat poised over CPU preparing to administer fix based on forum tip) ![]()

Just want to thank the thousands of supportive members for the mountain of email. Not really interested in male enhancements though. Thank gawd I fixed the problem myself. Just turned that little red key at the back next to the freen inducer coil. Wow! and now everything is in colour too! If I could just tone down those live images from the Hubble telescope. Wonder what all those round saucer-shape thingies are passing Mars?
