Order ID doesn't work after reinstalling Windows
I know this is covered in the FAQ, but my problem is a little different.
Unfortunately I had to format before I had a chance to unlicense the game. Now, after reinstallation of Windows and the game, my Order ID is no longer accepted, and there is no option to unlicense when right-clicking on the game icon. The error message says: Unable to get or install a license Retrieval of license failed with error code = 11. There are no licences currently available for this Order ID. You have installed all of the licenses for this product to which you are entitled. If you need additional licences, you will need to contact the publisher or vendor you purchased this product from, or you will need to purchase another copy. I have send a support request to elicense.com but I suspect they will, as the message suggests, tell me contact the publisher (you). Suffice to say I am not seeking to distribute the game, I just want to play it myself but don't want to pay again. I would be happy with a fix which doesn't require a new Order ID or an extra license; whatever gets the game back up and running again. |

No, elicence are the ones to contact. They will most likely just release the licences back to you within a day or two. I've been in your situation before and they resolved the problem with minimal hassle. All it took was an email.

That is the last update the eLicense control has since it communicated with your game (most likely after installation and installing license #.) and when it looks for the appropriate info, it shows that it is used, and throws back the error. Usually firing off an email to support@elicense.com asking them to reset your TBCB game license is all they need. If you don't get that in a timely manner, email me back at: tc@ootpdevelopments.com and I will help out. Also printing off a hard copy of all your eLicense numbers for all OOTP Developments games is a good idea to file somewhere when the ol' HD needs cleaning and reformatting, etc. Good Luck!

Thank you, TC. I filled in an elicense support request form on Thursday night GMT. They haven't gotten back to me yet, but I expect they don't work weekends. I'll also drop an email to the address you said. If I have no joy by the end of next week, I'll email you. Thanks again. Oliver
