Licence retrieval Support

I had a computer crash and the shop wiped my hard drives. Now I need to find out whether my license for Title Bout is valid and if so how to place it on my new computer. I can't "unlicense" the old one because it's wiped -- leaving no way to contact your server. Plus it's been a few months.

Similar but dumber story. Accidentally reinstalled the demo, license number long lost. Am I screwed?

I have never had to do this, but the licensing is run through elicsense (a third party) and from what I gather they are fairly responsive and easy to work with.

Please send them an email at support@elicense.com and describe the situation for them.

Our partner company ViaTech, Inc. handles all orders, license numbers, etc. for us. They're having full access to the eLicense database, and can help you with any eLicense-related problems.

If you lost your order ID, search for the file receipt.txt in the program directory. It contains the Order ID. Download the setup file from the game site or from
www.ootpdevfiles.com. Install and start the game. Click on 'License' on the purchase screen to enter or paste that order ID.

If you lost your order ID/license number or need one restored you need to contact ViaTech with proof of your purchase. Send them as much information about your purchase as possible, like your name, address, email address, the last 4 digits of the credit card number.

ViaTech web site:

Emailing OOTP Development's support team won't help as ViaTech handles all of these issues.

You can prevent this situation by saving the order ID and/or the file receipt.txt in a safe place. Also whenever you install a new version of your MS Windows, purchase a new computer or format the harddisk, make sure you first un-license your software. Read this to learn how:

Thanks to everyone. The eLicense people were able to recover my licence remarkably quickly. I'm now up and running again, and really appreciate it!
