TB 2.5 Vista- Program Stopped Working

I finally got my CD in the mail and I installed it and started the program, entered my licence number. After it accepted it I tried to start the program, a Microsoft Windows window came up that said- "tb2.5.exe has stopped working. windows is checking for a solution." (of course it cant find one!) So I tried it a few times, same thing. I uninstalled and installed (5 times total) it and every single time i try to start it, same window box comes up. I've tried running in admin mode, installing in admin mode, running in previous window versions, and I've tried every thing i could find in the faq section.
Please Help!!!!!! Im dying to play!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wonder if it's the CD. I've run TB2.5 with Vista myself, but I downloaded it. Still, you never know. Those Microsoft guys are pretty nefarious dudes, and according to the MAC commercials, Vista is a major loser!

use compatibality mode, as windos xp

Tried installing in XP and as admin and running in XP, still same thing...............I friggin hate Microsoft!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks anyways! Anyone know of any settings I might be able to change to possibly make it work?

In the Windows start menu group for TB2.5 there should be a shortcut "Start TB.25 in trace mode". Use it and after TB2.5 crashed have a look into the TB 2.5 data folder in /My Documents/OOTP Dev..., there should be a sub folder /logs. Send me the log file(s) please.
