game crash entering cornermen

Has any one had the game crash while entering new corner men?

I just did and some files have been corrupted apparently

have reloaded an earlier dat file for my corner men, but, now when I try to enter two names, the game freezes and crashes. Tried slight variations of the names including entering the last names backwards and the game is still unhappy. This is effecting at least two of my universe databases.

I'm being reminded of the old Felix Savon bug

I'm almost certain that more than one other person had this issue when 2.5 was first released. I tried to find the old thread that discusses this so that I could point you to it, but had no luck.

I know my reply isn't of much help... unless you or someone else has better luck locating the old thread.

if it is the bug I think it is there was a problem with some of the fighters assigned to cornermen forgot which ones but I would unassigned all fighters to corners and there were some fighters with ratings that caused the game to crash (primarily zero rated fighters)
