Help Please!!

I had previously submitted a thread about my game suddenly not working. I get some type of unable to load database error. (The complete error message is enclosed in my prior email) I uninstalled the game , then reinstalled it, but I get the same error message. Also, when I try to unlicense the game i get a message "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or if one is already installed create an association in the default control panel"
I have windows 7 and the game has been working fine until recently.
