game wont load

my saved game wont load. my saved universe and my other saved uni will not load but loading a new uni works any ideas anybody how i can reopen my universe

You could try individually copying DAT files from your defunct saved universes into functioning new universe.

If no success, if you are able to zip one of your defunct universes I could try to run it and see if able to assist.

Hope of some use.

just trying to move it to my other hard drive on laptop to see if that works, incase this one faulty or will try what u said if not i send file over

It would not reload it still came up as in previous drive, i unzipped tryed to edit it till other drive but would not work. I wrote down most of the records so will edit it back into a fresh game, thanks for your advice in trying to help restore my uni

If you saved your unis on a backup drive/disc, all you need to do is copy and paste the file into your "Saved Games" folder in your Documents and it should be fine.
