Need tech support - game won't open

I followed wildhawk's instructions in a previous thread to no avail.

I clicked on tb1.exe and the program just won't open. I am running XP with direct x 9.0 installed.

I think this may be a problem unique to my system as I remember several months ago trying to run the OOTP5 demo with the same results. That being said...I am a veteran of the board game and I would really like to get this game up!

No probs Tinga.

I wanted to get this game for my girlfriends birthday. My girfriend was in her teens when this game was scheduled for release and now I'm applying for her state pension. She started turning into a fossil waiting for this game.

However, I must say the game does look quite decent. I may even consider buying it after reading some customer reviews.

Anyone wrote any very early reviews for this game???

You might want to check and see if your Lic Ctrl is enabled in Win XP. That might be a solution.

Same problem for me. I clicked on tb1.exe and the program just won't open. I am running XP Pro with direct x 9.0 installed. I tried to create a shortcut and still nothing. I'm sitting here with my credit card all ready!

Sorry about that I'm losing the plot again. The last time that happened it resulted in a few threads being deleted. I just can't control myself. I sincerely apologise to everyone

I got it to work

I did a search for my tb1.exe file and clicked on it and followed the instructions...........wow and it worked.

I have my first bout going on now. Dempsey and Marciano.

If you are using XP go to your control panel look for Lic Ctrl icon. click that and see if your game is enabled.
