This program has performed an illegal operation and will shut down???!!!!

Can anyone help? I can download the game, access all screens, go to boxrec.com and come back, and do basically everything. But then once I start a fight I get the "this program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down" and then even after restarting it won't let me even open up the main screen again. Once it crashes it crashes. I have all the requirements, plenty of memory, directx9 etc.....what the hell???

would it help if I posted the details of the crash? (which is all gibberish to me)

I am at work, 7:30 pm est, now, but this has been driving me insane all day! I've been waiting for this game with crazy anticipation! As an avid tf2001/tkoboxing/lance heffner "lifer" I can't wait to play, but it won't let me!

I'm hoping beyond hope that when I get home around 11:30, that some saviour, andreas or board member gives me the wisdom to play on into the night tonight. I'm the Chef at critically acclamied NYC restaurants....free dinner to whoever helps me!!!!!!!! lol
