The birth and death years, as well as the career start and end years, appear to be editable, but the only thing that happens when I attempt to fix Joe Louis' years errors is the text changes colors from yellow to white.

1. Are they intended to be changeable?

2. Am I doing something wrong again? LOL

Does hitting Enter after making the change help?

I type the correct numbers in and hit save, but it just reverts to the wrong numbers, or says 19..

Mark,

I was able to correct his dates of boxing 1934-1951.

What I had to do on his screen was to click on the part where it should be 1934 and then backspace so the field was empty. Then I was able to input 1934 and enter then save.

I hope this works for you too.

When I deleted all the numbers in the year, instead of just the first two, it worked for me. Just needed to go that extra step.

Does editing years actually affect the game play at all?

(Quietly, patiently waiting for the patch that will allow us to import our TF2K1 fighters and bout histories, and allowing the game to rank them as well.)

Having correct career years is key to the auto scheduler for historical replays, IIUC, though I don't think birth/death years are that important, except to give an idea of age when a certain fight occurred for those of us who are anal about that kind of thing! LOL
