Exclamation A minor thing, but ...

Andreas;
Rasmuth, Rocco and I (and I'm sure others) have noticed that when we rate a fighter and hit the calculate button, the ranking sometimes changes if we hit the calculate button again after the save. I might not have noticed, except I got a really strange 1 rating for a guy I thought would be about a 5, so I hit it again and got a 4.

It doesn't happen every time, but enough that it makes us wonder if the calculate function may have a small bug. It's not a major bother, because I now routinely double check after saving to see if the ranking changes, but I thought I'd point it out to you.

What I've notice...and its happened a dozen or so times....I rate a fighter...hit the calculate button and it rates the fighter. Then I playtest.

Then I'll make adjustments...fine...I'd expect the number to change but sometimes I'll raise the values for chin vs kd and chin vs ko and then hit recalculate and the fighters rating will improve! Of course that doesn't make sense.

Also I've experience what vistaman44 said above to...hitting the recalculate button (no changes to the fighter) and a new number is computed.

Just wanted to update....Vistaman's "bug" is definately a real issue? (wrong word)

Anyway...I've been adding fighters and noticing that after the initial save...if I hit recalculate for the fighter again...almost all the time the overall rating changes...always upward.

The only time it seems not to change is when a fighter is clearly a "1" rated fighter.

Anybody else seeing this?

I'm thinking it really doesn't matter because the rating is used in the fights specifically....it's just used as a barometer of the fighters talent...but it is a little disconcerting just the same.

I've seen that happen too.

Rasmuth;
The place where it might skew a bit is in the autoscheduler when you set 6s against 4s, and the guy on the 4 side is really a 6 because you didn't calculate him twice ... Did that make sense?

True...I didn't think of that aspect...though I don't limit bouts that way....I let the random schedule pick from anybody. But for people who do...this could be a problem.
