Advice Please Guys

need to re-format my computer, what should I do about my licenses?
If you have mobile licenses (see the question about moving licenses), you should unlicense before you format the drive. Then when you are finished and have re-installed the eLicensed software, re-license. If your license is not mobile, you should contact us or the publisher with your intent to re-format.

I have read the above and it all seems easy enough, a couple of questions please
1 Do i have to be on line when i un-license the game from the control panel.
2 After downloading the game again after i have put windows XP on. Do i again have to be on line to make my licence valid again.

Sorry to ask such simple questions but this license business is all new to me.
Thanks Gentlemen
Danny

Danny,

I haven't looked for the specifics because I am running out the door for work but I did want to let you know that there is a way to un-license and re-license the game while off line. If you search through Viatech’s support section you should find the info that you need on how to do all that. Otherwise, the simple answer is Yes to both of your questions. Essentially, they will need to know what you are doing with the license so that they can make the appropriate changes in their available license database.

At least that is how I understand it all to work.
