A couple of questions

I've been a longtime Title Bout player in several forms, for years with the Avalon Hill game, from back in the late '70s, and for a short time with the APBA computer version, and I think the current format is great, and I can't wait to see where it goes. So great job to all.

I have a couple of questions.

1) I have no problems that I can see with my game (I basically do all my fights myself and don't use the scheduler or tournament modes (although I might in the future) -- Do I need to download the patch?

2) When changing a retired fighter's status -- from prime to post-prime, for example -- I don't see any change on his ratings screen. Should I?

3) Also, along this line, I was curious if these fighters have been individually rated for each stage of their careers, or if some general formula is used in determining ratings for each stage.

4) Lastly, why are there more than one Muhammad Ali? (I've noticed this with a few other retired fighters.)

Thanks. And again, Great Job!

1.) Yes, you should! The scoring system has been revised, and lots of other stuff. See the patch post for more info.
2.) No, you shouldn't! But when you let a retired fighter fight with another career stage, for example "End", the game will *use* calculated ratings based on his current ratings. They will reflect the difference between Prime and End, as good as it's possible, but of course in a generalizing manner.
3.) The latter.
4.) For some fighters the generalizing formula to convert his ratings from Prime to Begin or to End will not work as good as we wanted to. For these fighters we created multiple records. Some other fighters have fought in multiple divisions and have had pretty different performance in the divisions- so we needed to create multiple record for them, one for each division.

And thank you very much for the kind words!
