Please Read Andreas and Thanks
Andreas
Posted by *Bussywhatshisname* in the other forum So i pasted it in here Just a few things I noted while playing out two fights cards. - Seems almost like "Fatigue" means nothing over the course of a bout. - Knockdowns don't have any carry-over effect (at least in the commentary). - Cuts seems to clear up instead of opening again or getting worse and have no effect on the guy who is cut. - Commentary is often confusing with all the "He"s that start a sentence. - I've seen a few instances where a fighter lands a blow and doesn't score a point. - in the commentary, it says both look good despite fighting 4 rounds, and it is only the start of the 4th round. - "Fighter (A) seems to have done enough to win..." and it's only the 9th round of a ten round fight. - There is no real warning of a fighter's collapse. Fighter A hits fighter B hard enough to make him blink(!). Fighter A turns to ref and asks him to stop the fight, and the ref does, awarding Fighter A a TKO for no apparent reason. I've only seen this happen once or twice though. - Commentary keeps repeating the same old tired statement that starts off "Both fighters come into this fight expecting ....." and everyone knows the rest of it. Give this a rest please. - Every once in a while, it seems like a fighter has a broken hand, but it doesn't come up again in the commentary and has no discernible impact on the fight. - A fighter with a cut is checked only once before a fight is stopped. Where's the drama in that? - Oh, yeah. One other thing. The ranking system is nuts. I keep seeing Fighter B beat Fighter A and still get ranked beneath him. Before you bring out the RP version, this ranking system has got to be corrected. There is an awful lot good about this game, but it still needs tweaking to be a masterpiece. Is that something the company is interested in? Makes selling the next version a little harder I guess. |

Just a little surprised that no comments on your points were made, as i happen to agree with most of what you say. As for waiting for the Role Play version, why should some of these things not be corrected in this game, it would at the very least encourage us to buy the Role Play when it comes out. With such a limited market for boxing sims, you need to keep your customers as happy as possible Cheers Danny |
