Direct 3d problem

I installed a new 3d graphics card (changing from NVIDIA to ATI). When I started TBCB some of the writing has "bled" and there are lines all over the screen. If I start TBCB without Direct 3d hardware the game works OK but there are no background pictures.

Anyone got a solution for this please?

I use a ATI RADION PRO 98OO my OS is WIN XP and i never have problems with the game.
Make sure you have the latest driver for your card.

Sorry i cant be of much use other then that.

Start dxdiag (In the Windows' Start menu click on "Run..." and enter "dxdiag"). Under DirectX Features try different settings. It helped when I installed my ATI card.

Thanks for your replies. I have now solved the problem by reinstalling and then adding the game patches. However now Title Bout Quiz does not work!! If I reinstall TBQ then TBCB doesn't work!! I have now left it with TBCB working and my saved game intact. Thanks again.
