Could Not Find Sound directory Error

I reloaded the game on a new computer (just downloaded the latest update) and when I tried to start it up 1rst time got this error

"could not find sound directory

C:\progra~1\outoft~\titleb~\sound\default "

running XP

I tried the fix in config file for sound problem but same error

I'm having the same problem after installing patch 1.07. It appears to be looking in the 'Program Files' folder for the missing file, but I don't have TBCB installed in Program Files

Seems like the patch has not been installed into the same directory where you originally installed TB.

You can either install the full version which then will work, but you will lose your existing TB data then (fighter records and bout history and so on).

Or you can locate the TB program directory on your computer (search for the file tb1.exe) and install the patch into that directory.

Thanks Andreas, that worked. My own dumb fault, I didn't notice that the patch defaulted to 'Program Files'. Reinstalling the patch in the correct folder has fixed it.
