What to do about too many cuts?

Hey guys,
I know that this has been addressed in the past, but I am still having way too many bouts stopped due to cuts.

How do I slow that number down a little. I still want them in the game, but I just had a huge card end with four of the bouts being stopped due to cuts.

It seems that I remember someone saying that there was something that could be adjusted to help with this.

Thanks!

Did you already set the "Close Cuts" and "Reduce Swelling" ratings of the "Generic Cutman" to 7 (seven)?

Thanks for the reply.

No actually I don't.

Does this help and should I set all Cutmen to that?

It makes all the difference. Cut stoppages are now rare when you set cuts, swellings to 7. Perfect balance imo.

Problem I see is cut stoppages happening after the first cut. Too often, as soon as a fighter is cut , the ref steps in and the fight is over immediately. Not realistic, certainly, and I don't think adjusting cutman's rating to 7 fixes that problem. The adjustment, however, does wonders for reducing minor cuts and swellings between rounds as the fight progresses. Rate of TKOs due to swelling down severely with the recent patches.

Regardless, Andreas and Trunzos have promised to fix cut routine in TBCB2.

I assign every fighter a cut man and I do not use the generic, which is about the same as assigning values to the generic. I no longer have either problem. Rarely is a fight stopped on cuts and rarely is a fight stopped abruptly on cuts.
