Changing Dates

The date is set on 1955-04-04. I can’t change it as the date seems to be frozen. There is nothing wrong with my backspace key, as it works fine on my word processing documents.

Sometimes all of the edit boxes in the game including this one seem to be 'untouchable', in other words you can't type into them for some reason. Why does this happen?

I have this problem now as well. All editable fields are no longer accepting edits. I can click on the field with my mouse and a cursor appears but no key-strokes register.

Has anyone else had this occur and more importantly, what is the fix?

Use Alt-Tab to switch to another program, then switch back to TB - don't know what it is

The next day I was able to change dates with no difficulity.
