The third patch for OOTP 9 has been released, version 9.1.2! Thanks very much for your patience.

Please note: We still don't have a fancy patch program. You still have a choice of downloading just the executable. However, you can also download the full version, which includes all manual updates and the updated MLB roster file, and simply install it over your existing version. See the download instructions page linked above for instructions!

Steam Patch
The fully patched version will be available on Steam on Tuesday at around noon EST. (This is a little big later than expected due to our release of another patch tonight!)

Updated MLB Rosters
If you only care about MLB rosters, and not about the hard work we put into the patch (including new features!), you can actually download the updated MLB rosters from inside the game using the Add-ons Central feature:

1. Open any league file
2. Go to Game Menu | Add-ons Central
3. Click on "Reload Add-ons List"
4. Click on the Download button next to "Updated major league roster set"
5. When that is done, click on the Install button next to "Updated major league roster set"
6. The next time you start a Major League game, it will use the updated file.

Note: The updated MLB roster set will not affect MLB games that were already created!

Promotion Coming!
We just wanted to give you a heads up: there will be an OOTP promotion at some point over the All-Star week with a discounted price. So, if you know an online league that hasn't upgraded yet, or want your buddy to try the game, this is the week to do it! Keep your eyes peeled for a newsletter early in the week.

Patch #4
We're still not done improving things, and we do anticipate releasing at least one more patch for OOTP 9. There is no planned release date for a fourth patch as of yet, but unless Patch 3 causes some horrible problem affecting thousands of loyal customers, we don't expect it to be immediate.

That said, if you have a pet problem, make sure it's in tech support and has received a "Bugzilla #". When Markus is fixing things, he's going to be looking in our tracking system, not scouring General Discussions for posts about problems! If you want to see something fixed, please make sure it's in Tech Support! We'll fix as many outstanding issues as we can in time to verify the fixes and get the patch out. We'll give more information when we get closer to releasing the fourth patch.

If you find problems in this patch other than download issues, post them in tech support, and not in this thread! They won't get fixed by getting posted here! Thanks!
